No they don't.
Yes! From the management: 'We are carry only Halal meats at all locations. Each location also has a halal certificate from the vendor. The employee may not be aware of this, but this is our corporate program and all stores receive meats from same supplier.'
Good causal Indian food. A little bit pricey and selection not great but if you want American versions of Indian food come here, I have not tired the Chinese dishes yet.
Asian or Indian.. always perfection!
Worst indian Chinese i ever had ,i went lot of masala wok in different places but this location had a worst i wish google have a minus rating option .We order 10 different varieties of food some cold like chicken lollipop , noodles look like dip in a tomato sauce , and chicken still cold from inside after cooking .I hope they serve people right in pandemic situation instead of taking benefits.
First time i had there quesadillas with curry salsa it was so good cause one of my friends brought some for me to taste it. Good combination i love it. One time I decided to visit the place it was okay kinda dark inside they have open kitchen and when i saw that i doubt about the sanitation. It wasn't clean . It was messy. Sauces weren't covered at all.
Good Food, nice environment, wait time was less and service was decent.
Amazing paneer pudina kabob, paneer 65 biryani , veggie vindaloo must try. And not to forget yummy rasmalai . Awesome food . Staff is super friendly.
Disappointed. Food was relatively good. For an unknown reason no naan was available??They offered extra rice which was a nice gesture. Rice was dry😐
Good Indian food with a spin of other cultures
Not super authentic Indian food but is tasty nonetheless. Their spicy options are quite good and the food is consistent. Friendly and decent price.
Had the chicken Tikka masala on brown rice, mild. For the first time being here, I was impressed at the flavors used to give it such great taste. The Naan, beyond delicious. My wife had the malai kofta and it too was beyond delicious that we had to order one to go for later. Anyways, I rate this establishment a 5 star for making my tummy feel so great!
Great little spot for lunch or dinner in the Tech Ridge Shopping Center. Teriyaki Chicken with Rice was great! I plan on returning to the Masala Wok in Tech Ridge again.
We went to this location tonight and have been going to this location for so long. Great food however customer service was really bad. All these new staff have bad attitude. My husband went to get spoons and he was told you guys took 3 spoons already. We are talking about plastic spoons not the gold one. So cheap and unprofessional. It was 5 of us and they where counting how many spoons or fork we are taking to our table. We are not going back to this location again just for their rude staff.
Fast, fresh, delicious, and easy. Get the garlic naan! The lamb kheema fried rice is great too.
Goat tasted very good for a fast food joint. Veggie tikka masala was extremely unimpressive and not resembling anything close to what was expected. The naan does the job but it’s dense and tastes like it’s just heated up frozen. I know, I know. It’s a fast food place. But just be warned. Better off going to a family owned place
Good food. Great service by MARIA.Chicken 65 and some kabobs good.Biryanis are not authentic biryanis... just meat and rice or veg-rice.
We do not know it was counter order but the staff was really friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. We were even allowed to bring our own bottle of wine 🍷 which we had to open and pour. It was fun and we will go back.
Surprisingly good. Did not think the fast food style Indian cuisine would work but this place proved otherwise. The man, rice, and variety of masalas were quite tasty. At the spiciest, the masala actually had a kick to it. Portions were generous. Environment was clean and simple.
I love this place! It's one of our usual lunch bunch spots! The thai pepper fried rice is a very large portion and delicious!
This restaurant is really great. I usually get the Indian food but the southeast Asian meals I've had were very tasty as well. The portion sizes will make you full or you can have some left over. Meals are consistently in the $12 range for what I get before tip. The atmosphere can be busy during the lunch hour (12-1pm) but not crowded and I've never had to wait.Masala Wok gets sustainability points to for compostable utensils. Their drink machine doesn't carry big label sodas which adds to the unique experience.Be careful when asking for "spicy" because medium may be enough. There is a DIY spice station you can use if medium is not enough.
The food is good, the service is prompt and friendly. All in all it's a good option.
I’ve to confess that I’m not crazy about Indian food but I’ve tried some good ones over the years. This wasn’t the case. I decided to go for the Manchuria sauce with chicken. It was so bland. And i had to “fish” the chicken under all that jelly looking sauce. The chicken was rubbery and flavorless. However my husband got the southern curry with just lamb and it was better than mine. The server was nice, the place was clean and it wasn’t busy.
What qualifies them for Indian food? Horrible if you are going for Indian food. Don't waste your money. There was absolutely no taste. These are the place who are confusing people about what Indian food is.There was no Spice in any of the food item.
The food there is really good and if you're vegan they have some vegan options.
Personal favorite. Friendly and helpful staff. Busier means a longer wait time. Bigger order means a longer wait time as well. One large screen T.V. on wall. Low tone music plays over speakers. Low key lighting and warm atmosphere. Great A/C during hot weather. Side Note: I am sensitive to cold atmosphere and have never required a coat at this location. Clean dining room and restrooms. Ask if you need more info!
Excellent food and variety. Pad Thai was great tasting and very fresh. I'm from out of town but would love to have one in my area.
We eat here about once a month and I'm always so happy with this place! Service, food, everything is always top notch. The staff are always smiling, friendly, and welcoming. The restaurant is always clean and tidy. Food is always good, fast, and consistent. And great portions for the price. We continue to be regular customers. Thanks Masala Wok @ Tech Ridge!
Good, fast, counter service Indian-Asian cuisine. I had the Korma with Lamb and I didn't like how many carrots, green beans, and peas we're in the curry. The made the texture unpleasant to me. The Butter Masala was much better. This restaurant has "nice" organic and/or 'real sugar' sodas, which was nice.
Good butter chicken, ok tikka masala and Nan. The Nan was a little bit overcooked and crispy. The butter chicken has very good flavor and was delicious, however, my favorite dish (chicken tikka masala) was disappointing. The sauce was un-flavorful and tasted more like a tomato soup. Besides the chicken cubes, there was no texture. I’ve had a lot of traditional tikka masalas from a lot of different places and this was without a doubt the most bland. I wouldn’t recommend getting it.
Very good food and quality. Prices were a bit higher than a typical lunch place. I would go again, but not right away.
My favourite is Dum Chicken Briyani. Their Samosa is a must try. This is the best Indian cuisine I have eaten so far. Enjoy most of their southern curry and lamb curry too.
I have been coming to this location for years. One of my favorite places to eat. Cozy and inviting with friendly staff and many diffrent meal options. A good place to sit and read.
I tried the Mughlai with paneer and garlic naan. Can't complain!
I like their kids meal options. They are affordable and taste better than the resy of the menu.
I give them Five ratings because of their very neat and No plastic online delivery. Food was good but not spicy that you expect from Masala Wok(very very bland/mild).
Great food with great prices and portions! You can’t go wrong with this place! First time here and I’ll definitely be back!! My picky 4 year old son loves it, which speaks volumes!
Pepper is good, Man chow soup is good when it is hot.
Had Shrimp and egg with pad Thai noodle. Medium spice. Taste okay and quantity way too much like everything in Austin.
Amazing Indian chinese fusion food, very tasty and reliable in that. Nothing goes wrong, and is my favorite.
Ordered takeout and disappointed about their portion sizes, not worth the prize. Their South Indian curry was watery but still flavorful. Their somosa chaat was great! Their naan was unfortunately very disappointing.
The original friend rice is so good.
We tried Chicken noodles was just ok, but the kadai lamb biryani was horrible.. it doesn’t taste good.
First time here and everything was on point. Would definitely eat here again. Staff was generous and helpful
Was looking for a good fast place for some Chicken Tikka Masala and this was it. Had the spicy level and it was a nice pleasant burn. Good naan and really liked the basmati rice. Good sized portions and hit out of the kitchen. Definitely adding to my list of regular stops. Edit: Came back and tried the Southern Indian Curry with chicken, hot. Very good. Better than the Tikka Masala IMO and that's my goto dish at Indian places.
Awesome. ..just super food...this was first time and heard good reviews from friends..Had few expectations but they blog everything with the food...we ordered chicken kabob..lamb curry.. if I could have more than 5 rating I would have given....Worth the money...mostly everything around 11..12 bucks...fast service..tasty food...awesome ..
I was not a fan of this Masala Wok at first I will not lie. I feel like the other one is better if you can get over there, but with time they have improved their staff. Now this Masala Wok feels welcoming like the other one and the food is even better than it was. One gripe is that I do feel like the other one still reliably gives you enough food for two meals with every order and even though the portions are huge here they are not always two complete meals. It is still a good value for me and I enjoy the chicken 65 meal almost every-time I come here.
Great Indian food!! Loved the butter chicken. Large portions.
Very good Spinach Masala with chicken and garlic nan. One plate large enough to serve two people. Very nice location.
Really nice place for indo-chinese food. Reasonable prices and good food. Staff is always pleasant and friendly!
Nice Indian food chain in Austin, have been a regular visitor whenever I'm in Austin. There is a scope to improve the ambiance.
Poor customer service with a sassy mouth. Nope... Give my money back because I don't owe you to spend my money here. No Thank you 😱😡
